2. User Responsibilities

This license terminates once the processing is complete and the files are deleted from our servers.

All content and materials on our website, including the design, code, and branding of MyPDFTools, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 availability of our services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or upgrades without prior notice, which may result in temporary downtime. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by such interruptions.

5. Limitations of Liability

MyPDFTools shall not be liable for the following:

• Any loss, corruption, or deletion of data or files during or after processing.
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
• The content, accuracy, or legality of files processed through our services.
• Any damages resulting from third-party actions, such as hacking or unauthorized access to our servers, despite our reasonable security measures.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed $100 USD.

6. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use our services to process or engage with the following:

• Content that is illegal, harmful, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code that could damage our services or other users’ devices.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to resolve it through binding arbitration in California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than through a lawsuit. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyPDFTools, its affiliates, and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
